🚀Portfolio Updates:

Data Change Alerts (Email Notifications):

We’ve introduced Portfolio Data Change Alerts, users to subscribe to email notifications summarising key data updates.
This feature addresses challenges where users rely on Property Managers to update data but often face delays, errors, and lack of visibility into whether updates have been actioned.
Previously, incorrect data was flagged manually via email, requiring updates that only reflected after overnight integrations. Additionally, there was no built-in validation for imported data, leading to errors being discovered too late.

To improve data trust, transparency, and efficiency, this feature provides:

  • Subscription-based email alerts for users to track changes to relevant funds, assets, and units.

  • Customisable notifications, allowing users to select specific assets, funds, frequency, and data points across units and assets.

  • Emails only sent if changes occurred, reducing unnecessary noise and ensuring relevant updates.

Email delivery schedule:

  • Daily emails: Sent at 9 AM GMT every day.

  • Weekly emails: Sent at 9 AM GMT every Monday.

  • Monthly emails: Sent at 9 AM GMT on the first Monday of every month.

This enhancement strengthens the feedback loop between PMs and users, minimises manual back-and-forth, and improves overall confidence in Portfolio’s data integrity.

🐛Bug Fixes:

Resolved an issue where the Last Introduction Date was incorrectly displaying today’s date due to a UI rendering bug.

This issue did not affect client data and was fixed and released on the same day.

📌 A Note on Version Numbers:

We’ve introduced a new versioning convention following the format: [Product Name]: Major.Minor.Patch. This provides clearer insights into the scale of each release:

  • Major release: Introduces a breaking change for clients or a fundamental shift in the product.

  • Minor release: Includes new features, bug fixes, or interface changes that impact how the product works (e.g., this release).

  • Patch: A small update, typically backend-only or negligible for customers.

This structured approach ensures better transparency and understanding of updates across InvestorFlow products.

Version number: v.5.2.2
